About Tuckahoe Clubhouse

See WPOA's webpage on Tuckahoe Clubhouse here

The WPOA Tuckahoe Clubhouse in Stoney Creek [map] stays busy with a variety of activities for and by property owners. A glance at the calendar will typically show exercise programs, bridge and poker playing, quilting, yard sales, meetings and a host of other events, such as programs for the Nature Foundation or Wintergreen Performing Arts. During national and local elections, it serves as the Nellysford's area polling place.

Volunteers have freely given of their time and talents to support the clubhouse. The library at the clubhouse, for example, is a resource for the entire Wintergreen community. Managed completely by dedicated volunteers, it now contains thousands of books, puzzles and books on tape free for the borrowing.

The building was originally built to be a pre-school for the community. Later it was modified to house both the school and room for community social events. In 2018 the school closed and most of the building is now devoted to events and programs.

The clubhouse is available to Wintergreen property owners for private parties. It has a full sets of china, glassware, table cloths and serving utensils available. The gathering room can be rented, there is a small fee to use the dinner supplies. (See the use guidelines here.) Call the WPOA office at 434-325-8524 to reserve the facilities.
